EXPLORER is for children aged between 3 and 4 years of age who have an expanding ability to recreate their understanding of the world around them.

Using the Reggio Emilia approach, which encourages children to think and imagine in 100 different ways, the Explorer Program extends the depths of children’s play in ways that are meaningful and relevant to the child’s realm of experience.

Projects developed and implemented in the Explorer Program integrate a range of creative play such as dramatic play, construction and building play together with teacher-facilitated activities that ensure our curriculum expectations are reached by all children.

Group sizes in the Explorer Program are limited to 15 children with a teacher-child ratio of one teacher with six children.
